A fire and life safety consultant makes sure a building protects its occupants in a fire. FIRETECH defines the applicable codes, designs egress, compartmentation, sprinkler and alarm strategies, reviews drawings from other disciplines and supports approvals with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
Which fire codes and standards do you design to?
We design to the code adopted in your jurisdiction together with international standards such as NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code), NFPA 13 (sprinklers), NFPA 72 (fire alarm), NFPA 20 (fire pumps) and NFPA 25 (inspection, testing and maintenance).
When should fire safety be involved in a building project?
As early as possible — ideally at concept design. Early involvement sets egress, fire-rated construction and system strategy before layouts are fixed, which avoids costly redesign and approval delays later.
Do you help with authority approvals and permits?
Yes. Our code consulting and permitting service covers code gap analysis, permit documentation, plan review support and direct liaison with the AHJ until approval.
Do you work outside Lahore and Pakistan?
Yes. FIRETECH is headquartered in ParkView City, Lahore, and works as an international consultancy with experience of international codes, including UAE Civil Defence requirements.
